Dear________________,

As director of ,  I couldn't help thinking of your organization as a supporter of a silent auction that will benefit the Barberville Pioneer Settlement for the Arts.  You are probably familiar with the Settlement located near the intersection of SR40 and SR17 in Barberville, but here's a link to their website in case you're not familiar with it:

The Settlement's Fall Jamboree which last year brought in over 6,000 people for the two days, will be held  November 7th & 8th of 2009.  (A button on the above website provides additional information.)  We need items for the silent auction that will be held during the Jamboree and will benefit the Settlement's work toward providing a permanent facility for working artists and craftspersons and preserving Florida's cultural heritage. We have been fortunate to gain the support of many local businesses and feel that you would like to be among them.  Our goal is to promote over 500 items.  Any item(S) you could provide would be very welcome.  Signed items would be even better if appropriate!   Certificates or vouchers are also eye catching!  If you wish to contribute a basket of items to promote your  restaurant, or items from your pro shop, I would be glad to stop by.  If mailing is desired, please address it to:

I know you would enjoy attending this event.  The music, arts & crafts, and silent auction brought in over 6,000 people during the 2 day event last year.  What GREAT advertising!    It's a lot of FUN and a great way to help preserve Florida's cultural heritage
If you have any questions about the Silent Auction or donations, please feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone.  386-437-0185 or  patsgems@cfl.rr.com  .

Thank you in advance...and hope to hear from you soon!
