Dear ___________

As owner of ______________  I couldn't help thinking of you two when I attended an organizing meeting for a silent auction to benefit the Barberville Pioneer Settlement this morning.  You are probably familiar with the Settlement located near the intersection of SR40 and SR17, but here's a link to their website in case you don't know about it:

The Settlement's Fall Jamboree will be held 7 and 8 November 2009.  (A button on the above website provides additional information.)  We need items for the silent auction that will be held during the Jamboree and will benefit the Settlement's work toward providing a permanent facility for working artists and craftspersons and preserving Florida's cultural heritage.  Any item(s) you could provide would be very welcome.  Signed items would be even better!   Packages should be clearly marked "Silent Auction" and sent directly to the Settlement at:

Barberville Pioneer Art Settlement

1776 Lightfoot Lane

P. O. Box 6

Barberville, FL  32105

I know you would enjoy attending this event.  The music, arts & crafts, and silent auction will bring in over $6,000 people during the 2 day event.  What GREAT advertising!    It's an awful lot of FUN and a great way to help preserve Florida's cultural heritage—

If you have any questions about the Jamboree or donations, please feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone at __________ or you may contact Pat Spano, Silent Auction Chair, at patsgems@cfl.rr.com .

Thanks in advance...and hope to hear from you soon!
